Love is not rose petals and rainbows, nor a flourish of poetry on picnic blanket in the Victorian countryside. Love is a ruthless equalizer between “is” and “should.” Love is the hand that coerces our conscience at gun point to rebuild bridges we worked hard to burn. Love cracks shells and lets in light.
